Grilled Peanut Butter & Jelly

Let us move right back to what might be one of the best meals of time–the peanut-butter and jelly sandwich. While some people’s desire for the easy and quick combination of jelly and peanut-butter could have perished down for the duration of the years–my love for PB & J stays with me. If you’re like me, I am certain you nosh on jello and peanut-butter frequently. But for those who have distanced yourself apart from your sandwich, I’m here to bring it right back! On the grill no less!

Cooking your PBJ is a simple and quick method to make a dinner that is fast through the active college years. There’s something about warm, frothy peanut-butter on breads cooked to a perfect temp that keeps me coming-back for more.

Here’s everything you need:

2 pieces of bread (wheat or white) – I utilized wheat in my recipe

Peanut Butter

Jelly

…that is it!

  1. Put the your two pieces of bread on a plate (I propose you refrigerate the bread before making the meal). Distribute the quantity of peanut-butter you’d enjoy onto one piece of bread. Do exactly the same using the Jello on another slice of breads.
  2. Preheat the grill as soon as you have your sandwich assembled. For those who haven’t washed your BBQ make certain to vertically brush the stays from any old food (you do not need your peanut-butter and jelly sandwich tasting like the shrimp kabobs you cooked two nights ago!).
  3. Add a generous glob of jelly on the bread and over-load the remaining piece with peanut-butter, add the peanut-butter side to the jelly so the pieces are married together with the peanut-butter and jelly swimming in bliss.
  4. Put the sandwich on the grill. Allow it grill for THREE MINUTES minutes then turn over for 3 more minutes.
  5. Use a spatula to pull the delicious PB&J from the grill on a dish and allow it to cool for around one minute or 2. It does not take too long to get it perfect. I personally believe the broiled PB&J is the best when it comes to comfort food and perfect shortly after it’s taken off the grill.
