“How do you grill the best turkey?” That is the number one issue we hear from clients across the holidays. The other day we spent a whole evening turkeys on several grills in our Chicago showroom, so in this month formula problem we’re discussing our two favorite strategies. The first is rotisserie cooking, and the formula below afforded one of the most amazing, most delectable smoked turkeys we’ve actually had the delight of helping. Smoking the bird on a rotisserie that is whirling ensures it’ll cook evenly, and a deep golden brown wills turn.
We’ve ever been a large lover of the strategy that is next – butterflied grill- turkey. Then this is the approach for you in the event you’re looking to accelerate the cooking process and still achieve unbelievable results. Whichever strategy you select, cooking your turkey on the grill may afford gold crispy skin and tasty smoky flavors that simply are not attainable in an oven. Prepare to impress your friends and family. And freeing up the stove for additional baked-goods (pumpkin-pie anybody?) is never a bad idea.
Finally, no christmas turkey is not incomplete without a tiny gravy! Our Gravy recipe utilizes drippings in the turkey joined with some aromatics that are classic. The menu is relatively simple to generate, but amazingly flavorful.
